All the names being quite appealing still cannot reflect - in my opinion- the outstanding quality of the flowers and most notably their colours, shades, half-tones. They change with time starting from buds and ending in domed brown centers which can decorate the garden until springtime.
Coneflower cultivars enjoy humus-rich, moist, fertile soils and requires a lot of sun. The sun rays guarantee the vivid colors of the flowers and overall healthy growth. If the clumps become big enough we can divide them and enlarge the number of plants in our garden. Everybody will be happy including butterflies. They love visiting coneflowers and you can always see a few of them busily drinking what the graceful flowers offer to them.
